Everything in this world is powered by Mysidian, Steam, Coal, fossil fuel, or a combination of two or more of them. The most common individual land conveyance is the Iron horse, a mechanical version of a long extinct animal which the Acidian used to tame and ride upon from place to place. These mechanical creatures are powered by Soul Mysidian, which is non-elementally charged Mysidian which can bind the soul of a long dead creature to the form of the Iron horse. Other conveyances are the iron horse drawn carriage, or the steam carriage, which is a horseless carriage car driven by steam power. There are varieties of mechanical beasts of burden used as transport, assault, beasts of burden and more.

The skies have also been conquered by man's use of Mysidian; powerfully charged air Mysidian crystals fuel airships, which range from one man, low-level fliers to enormous high altitude barges that can house hundreds of people at a time. Most of these vehicles are motivated by mechanical means, but the air Mysidian aids to improve the maneuverability, speed, lightness, and overall altitude capabilities of these vehicles. Some vehicles are so packed with specialized Mysidian crystals that they function entirely on them without any kind of mechanical engine or guidance system.

The four metropolis cities of the great empires each have a Mysidian power grid which the citizens draw energy from and pay the government for. This power fuels their heating and cooling, fuel needs and lights their homes. The homes in outskirt cities have their own Mysidian dispensary unit (or MD unit) which is filled periodically with Mysidian, charged for specific applications and administered where needed.
