Vos
Capital of the Valarian empire

. The Valarians largely do not regard themselves as an "Empire" per say, rather, a sovereignty with expansive colonization interests. Vos itself is set up largely like housing in the Mesa Verde in our world. The buildings are built into the face of a cliff overlooking the ocean. These buildings are merely the face of the city, which digs deep into the cliff to form a massive underground settlement.

The internal portion of Vos is a singular compound with several levels comprised of habitat levels, administration levels, and utility levels. Along the face of the cliff, near the surface of the water rests the most lavished homes. A single large sea-level cavern leads to the center of the internal compound and is where all the ships dock. A massive floodgate holds back the water when the tide is in or a storm rages outside.

Vos receives massive amounts of imports and immigrants or travelers from all over the world, and assimilates all the cultural aspects of unaffiliated and independent people who come or bring elements of their culture to Vos.
